A successful career may be a cover for the most sad stories. Winner of both the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after plenty of effort and immense amount of patience. Jones, who was born to a motherless family with five children who were stricken by poverty and hardship when she was a kid, endured an extremely difficult early life. Her mother lived on the road and even inside the basement of a church in the area in the past. This nomadic life made it necessary for Jones to switch to an entirely new school each year up until her first day of high school. At Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones resided apart from her mother in order to pursue her interest in athletics. Jones lived with four distinct families, which helped ensure that she was studying at a high level. Jones was awarded an award called the Gatorade track and field Athlete-of-the Year award while at high school. As a student cellist, Jones was also part of her school's school orchestra. Jones was a college student when she went to college, was recognized as one of the top hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was a part of the winning team of 100-meter relay. In 2003 and 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship. Jones started her track career in 2005 when she graduated from university. In 2005, she was the winner of Torino Memorial race. Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she took in the Heusden and Ostrava racers.
Brandt moved to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Her talent was discovered in Auckland by local Director of casting Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia in part of the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Together with producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight) She quickly became a hit. Mazikeen was a cult comic character in Vertigo/DC and was a character in the Netflix popular series Lucifer for six years. Lucifer has broken record for binge watching and was named the most series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt's next appearance will be in a six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024, opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult animated film to be released by Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December in Cape Town in South Africa. She is a talented New Zealander actor. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After several years working in the retail sector her promotion was to an IT consultant. Lesley was featured in a variety of commercial ads after several modeling assignments. She graduated in 2008 and finished her training in acting. Then, in 2009, she continued training using the Meisner technique of studying. The first time she was seen in New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting support role. She then appeared in the Sci-fi film This Is Not My Life, based on anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
