A successful career may be a cover for the most sad stories. Winner of both the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after plenty of effort and immense amount of patience. Jones, who was born to a motherless family with five children who were stricken by poverty and hardship when she was a kid, endured an extremely difficult early life. Her mother lived on the road and even inside the basement of a church in the area in the past. This nomadic life made it necessary for Jones to switch to an entirely new school each year up until her first day of high school. At Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones resided apart from her mother in order to pursue her interest in athletics. Jones lived with four distinct families, which helped ensure that she was studying at a high level.
